I can't thank you enough for encouraging me to look at Xero.
When you came to do my training my mind was already made up that I wanted to use, what is considered by most (though not for long I suspect), the industry standard. After a couple of hours of training that led nowhere but to utter frustration with that product, I pulled the pin and in a desperate last hope I agreed to take a look at Xero.
To my amazement the Xero system is simple, clear and intuitive. Quite literally it took me, with no accounting background, just minutes to get into it. Within a couple of hours I had processed more than three months worth of entries and submitted my quarterly activity statement on the spot.
Couldn't be easier.....it is actually fun
I really don't think it could be easier. On top of being easy to use and understand; and this is a bit sad but... it is actually fun. That's right, I said it, accounting can be fun! I find myself logging in at least every day in the hope that my automated bank feeds have sent me some records to reconcile.
As a Software as a Service (SaaS) software developer myself I have experienced the best and worst of applications over the years. I can honestly say this is by far the best SaaS system I have ever seen. It has actually led me to schedule a year long project to completely overhaul the systems we build - it really is that good.
